You can ask us to delete your MyHome account and the personal data linked to it at any time. MyHome is
operated by MyHome App LLC.
Subscribed? Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it
first in your Apple ID subscription settings (iPhone) or in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions
(Android), or you may continue to be charged.
Delete It in the App
Open MyHome, go to Settings → Delete Account, and type DELETE to confirm. Your account
and personal data are deleted right away.
Include the phone number or email address you use to sign in (Google or Apple), and your household's
name.
We may contact you to confirm the request came from you. We'll complete the deletion within 30 days and let
you know when it's done.
Deleting Some Data Without Deleting Your Account
You can delete most things yourself in the App at any time: At Home, shopping list and return items; tasks,
notes and calendar events; your own chat messages; your medications and period logs; and budget and expense
entries. You can also leave your household from the menu on the Home screen. For anything else, email us with
what you'd like removed.
What Gets Deleted
Your sign-in account (phone number or Google/Apple sign-in) and your profile name
Your membership in your household
Personal data that belongs only to you: personal tasks, private notes, your medications and medication
records, your period logs, and your shared location
Your devices' push-notification tokens
What May Be Kept
Shared household content you added (for example, a shopping list item, a shared task or a
chat message) may stay so the rest of your household isn't disrupted. If you were the last member of your
household, ask us and we'll delete the whole household's data. Chat messages are deleted automatically
after 30 days in any case.
Subscription records needed for billing, tax and accounting, for as long as the law
requires.
Free-trial records: a one-way scrambled (hashed) form of your phone number or email and
the date your free trial started, kept only so the same person can't start a second free trial. It cannot
be turned back into your phone number or email.
Item names you added to the shared catalog (names only, never linked to you).
Limited server logs and backups, for a short period, for security purposes.
