Please read before using MyHome. MyHome is a household organization tool. It is not a
medical device, not professional medical, financial or legal advice, and not an emergency service.
Reminders are convenience aids and may not always arrive on time. Content you add is shared with the
household members you invite. After a free trial, continued use requires a household subscription.
In an emergency, contact emergency services directly.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and MyHome App LLC ("we," "us"), a California
limited liability company, for your use of the MyHome mobile app (the "App"). By creating an account or using
the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. What MyHome Is (and Isn't)
MyHome helps a household share pantry and shopping lists, tasks, a calendar, chat, notes, budgets and
expenses, medication and period reminders, receipts, returns and family location.
The App is not:
A medical device or medical advice. Medication reminders and tracking are
organizational aids only. Always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions. Period logs and
predicted dates are personal records, not medical or fertility guidance.
Financial, tax, investment or legal advice. Budgeting and expense features are for
organization only.
An emergency or safety-monitoring service. Do not rely on Family Location, reminders or
any other feature in an emergency.
2. Reminders and Notifications Are Not Guaranteed
Reminders and notifications depend on your device, its settings (such as battery optimization, Do Not
Disturb and notification permissions), your network and your device's clock, none of which we control. We do
not guarantee that any reminder or notification will arrive, on time or at all. You are responsible for
independently keeping track of anything time-critical, including medication schedules.
3. Your Household and Shared Content
Most content you add is visible to everyone in your household, and theirs to you. You decide whom you
invite and what you share.
If you add information about another person (for example, a child's medication), you confirm you have
the authority and consent to do so.
Optional Parent and Child roles limit some of what Child-role members can see and do. These limits are
enforced by the App on a best-effort basis; they are not a certified parental-control or child-safety
product, and a child may still become aware of restricted information (for example, on a shared device or
from a notification). Supervising minors' use of the App is your responsibility.
You keep ownership of the content you add. You give us permission to store, process and display it only
as needed to provide the App to you and your household.
Item names you type may be added to a catalog shared with other households (names and public product
photos only). Catalog information is contributed by users and is not verified by us.
4. Family Location
Location sharing is optional, can be turned off at any time, and is shared with every current member of your
household while it's on. Location accuracy and timeliness are not guaranteed.
5. Accounts and Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. Users under 18 must have a parent's or guardian's
permission. A household should be set up and managed by an adult.
Assigning someone the Child role does not verify their age or identity.
You are responsible for keeping your phone, email and sign-in methods secure, and for activity on your
account.
Your household chat PIN encrypts chat messages. If your household loses it, we cannot recover encrypted
messages.
6. Free Trial and Household Subscription
Free trial. Each household can use MyHome free for a trial period (currently 90 days).
Each person is entitled to only one free trial: a household's trial starts from the
earliest trial already used by any of its members, so leaving and creating a new household does not
start a new trial.
Subscription. After the trial, continued use of the App requires an active household
subscription, currently US $0.99 per month (or the local price shown in the App Store or
Google Play). One subscription covers every member of the household, on both iPhone and Android.
Billing and auto-renewal. Subscriptions are purchased and billed through Apple's App
Store or Google Play, under their terms. Your subscription renews automatically each month
at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Cancelling. Cancel any time in your Apple ID subscription settings (iPhone) or in Google
Play → Payments & subscriptions (Android). Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access until
the end of the period you've paid for.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies. We cannot issue
refunds for store purchases directly.
Price changes. We may change the price with advance notice, as required by Apple and
Google. You can cancel before a new price takes effect.
If no one subscribes after the trial ends, the App will be locked for your household until
someone subscribes. Your household's data is not deleted because of this, and is subject to our
retention schedule.
A subscription belongs to the household it was purchased for and does not move to a different household.
7. Acceptable Use
Do not use the App to break the law, harass or harm anyone, share content you don't have the right to
share, track someone's location without their consent, or interfere with or try to gain unauthorized access to
the App, its servers or other users' data. We may suspend or end access for anyone who does.
8. Our App
The App, its software, design and name belong to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable
license to use the App for your household's own non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. Don't copy,
modify, reverse-engineer or resell it.
9. No Warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, including
merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the App will be
uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that data will never be lost.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyHome App LLC and its members will not be liable for any indirect,
incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, income or profit, arising from your
use of or inability to use the App, including any harm from a missed or late reminder, a missed deadline,
expired food, or reliance on shared or community content. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the
amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50, whichever is greater. Some
jurisdictions don't allow some of these limits, so they may not apply to you.
11. Ending Your Use
You can stop using the App and delete your account at any time (see
Delete Your Account). Deleting the App or your account does not cancel a
subscription; cancel it through the App Store or Google Play. We may suspend or end the App or your access if
you break these Terms or if we stop offering the App.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes, we'll ask you to accept the new Terms in the App before you
continue using it.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Alameda County, California, unless the
law where you live requires otherwise.
14. Apple App Store Additional Terms
If you downloaded the App from Apple's App Store: these Terms are between you and us, not Apple, and we (not
Apple) are responsible for the App and its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support
for the App. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund
the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
We, not Apple, are responsible for any claims relating to the App, including product liability, legal or
regulatory compliance, consumer protection and intellectual-property claims. You confirm you are not located in
a country subject to a U.S. government embargo and are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or
restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce
them against you.
